Changing restrictions

Close contact services

Beauty salons, tattoo studios, massage therapists and other  "close contact" services are able to re-open from Monday 13 July, with some restrictions on the types of services permitted.

You can view the detailed guidance HERE

Sports and fitness

From 25 July, indoor gyms, sporting centres and swimming pools may re-open.  The guidance on that is HERE.

I know you may have questions about individual sports, and what may or may not be permitted.  DCMS has asked each individual sport to make their own mitigations and to provide more detailed advice to enable grassroots sport to re-start safely.  If you have any questions, please do make contact with your sport's governing body.

"Eat Out to Help Out" scheme

The Chancellor announced on Wednesday that from 3-31 August a scheme will operate to give customers 50% off food and non-alcoholic drinks, up to £10 per person on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

The scheme applies to "dine in" meals and establishments need to register to be able to claim the money back from the Government.

The scheme opens for registration on Monday 13 July. The full details of eligibility and how to register are HERE.
