Since joining Carat, James has led the strategy discipline across a range of accounts as a true partner to his clients. He provides strategic guidance in all facets of the marketing process – from consumer segmentation and targeting strategies to leading broad interagency teams under a unified media communications approach. His previous experience at both creative and media agencies includes strategic thinking across communications, brand, and creative projects that spanned three continents and helping companies successfully navigate some of the world’s most complex markets. Mark Brown – Associate Investment Director for Individuals, Families and Professional Intermediaries at Investec Wealth & Investment in Leeds.


Mark manages assets on behalf of private individuals, IFAs, professional connections, charities, trusts and personal pension schemes. Although born in Scotland, he spent 20 years living in Hong Kong before returning to the UK for University. He previously worked for JP Morgan Chase prior to joining Investec Wealth & Investment in 2014. He is a Chartered Member of the CISI and has previously sat on their Scottish branch committee. He has a Masters in Finance degree from Lancaster University Management School.
